Day 01: June 20: Hustler to Sparta WI: 45 Miles

I got up this morning and got all of my things ready to go. I got my camelback ready and I look inside and found a wasp nest inside. Thanks dad for getting it out.

Today we started out with a party before we left. We left at about one. It was hard saying goodbye with everyone giving hugs and saying goodbye to us. We would like to thank mom and dad for the party. I hugged everybody and here is me and my grandpa saying goodbye.

Right after we got to the first town, elroy, Chuck went to get off of his bike and his front left tire went flat. That burned an hour of our time fixing.

To some of us this trip is yet to feel real, even though we are already done with our first day. Today was very hot and we went through 4 tunnels. Possibly the only tunnels we will see on the whole trip. Tunnel 3, was so cold and rainy. We were all freezing cold.

We decided to eat dinner in Norwalk at a place called Lil's Korner, it was a bar and grill type place so we ate outside. We all had chicked but Roger had to be different and order a burger. After, Chris decided to be funny and pour water all over me, that was cold. But, I got him back.

Then we made it to Sparta and decided to end there for the day. We stopped at the first hotel we found and the guy told us that he was out of normal rooms, but he had one nicer room left. It has two bedrooms and two couches, kitchen, bathroom, exc. At first the guy was going to charge us too much, so we decided to keep looking. The guy lowered the price so we stayed.

And I wouldn't want to forget to wish my dad a very happy father's day. For letting me go on trips like this one and just being there for me. I know he was concerned to let me go. I miss and love you daddy.

FYI, i changed your email

FYI, i changed your email address a bit. Dee will figure it out. Posting it exactly correct isn't a great idea.....I can explain why another time.

Actually, helping family with PC problems is always hard. I can't explain why, but every nerd struggles with it.
