We woke up in the fabulous city park in Circle, packed our things, and left to find breakfast. There were not many choices, so we returned to Kays because it was the choice and it was close to where we needed to go anyway.

After breakfast we left on the highway towards Wolf Point. There was not much of a shoulder for us to ride on, but the traffic was light and were moving over nicely for us. We were told at breakfast that the road was hilly and we had the wind against us AGAIN! We can't see to catch a break with mother nature....I think she may have a bounty on our heads!

There were no stops available for us to have lunch today. There was a very small town of Vida. We knew there was not much there, but hoped to at least find shade. 30 miles in and we arrived in Vida, found some shade next to the post office. Dad is having difficulty with his cereal bars...maybe we can call them low calorie now that they are squished to 1/16 there original size.

Here is another picture of Katie and TJ enjoying their lunches.

Katie and TJ mailed out a few postcards, the lady inside said we could go to the church next door to use the bathroom before we left. Then back on the road we go for more hills but the wind changed slightly so it was a little more to our side and less in our face. It was still challenging, especially because the traffic was picking up and many semis were passing us and still no shoulder for us to be on. We even had to stop and pull into the grass when we saw a huge tractor coming at us. It is a good thing we did because he was over both lines and a huge camper came up over the hill and did not see the tractor right away and had to put on the brakes and swerve quickly to not hit it. Good decision Chris!

We arrived in Wolf Point and found a McDonald's for dinner. Some of the other establishments looked questionable so we decided to stay with a chain. Then we set off to find the park.

At the city park, the workers were very nice. They took our names so they could notify the police to do extra checks overnight. We were able to camp and shower for free and they would leave the bathrooms open for us at night. They even let us in to the pool area to fill up our water bottles and camelbacks.

Before going to bed Chris and TJ walked back into town for some drinks and snacks. Chris was not very happy with his choice in drinks and purchased a pop from the Wolf Point Girl Scouts troop 2112. They were also nice enough to donate their extra pizza to us (we must have looked extra hungry). So we would like to send a big shout out to Troop 2112! The girls were so well behaved and were all very nice. THANK YOU!
