Day 22.....................(correction, not North Hudson, NY).......

Our group did about 51 miles today and are camping in Blue Ridge, NY tonight. Roger said they climbed about 2500 feet yesterday and about 3000 feet today. He sounded quite exhausted. Their goal tomorrow is approx. 25 miles to Ticonderoga, NY and calling it there for the day. They plan on getting a hotel. I am sure they will be doing some laundry and generally taking a bit of a rest day. They really need to rest their bodies at this point. This puts them at the New York/Vermont border. They have Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine to go. Rest well guys, you're getting there. See you all soon.

Day 21....................

Our bicyclists are at Golden Beach Campground at Raquette Lake, NY, in the Adirondack Mountains. They peddled 51 miles today. The hills are wearing on them so a good nights sleep is in order. Cell reception was horrid but that's alright; it makes Roger and Katie walk around more to find a bar or two. They need the exercise. ;-)

They will post a full blog when they can. They are hoping to be at Ticonderoga, NY in 2 days if they can do about 50 miles tomorrow, then 20 the next day. They need a rest day and are hoping to make it on day 23 if is a short day. Their last rest day was day 15. Your guys are doing a great job. Please rest yourselves a bit so you can make it the distance. I miss you all and can't wait to see you all on the flip side.

Hey all you FANS of this Awesome group-to see more pictures and full blogs, remember...

Always look for - Read more - and click on it. It will open up the full blog. If there are pictures you will be able to see them all. Please remember, after biking sometimes 65 miles or more, (not necessarily in ideal conditions) Chris spends a lot of time uploading the pictures IF he can. They are camping a lot so they don't always have internet access. He updates days with pictures when he can. So watch the BentHub News at your Right. (Right now I see he has posted that he updated Day 11 with photos.) (Now click on) Read more........................................

Thank you for a wonderful time............

Chris, Laura, Katie, Chuck, and especially Roger...............Thank you for a wonderful visit. It was way to short, (24 hours to be exact) but very entertaining. I will never forget seeing Niagara Falls with 5 of my most favorite people; Roger, of course, is my most Bestest Favorite People. Have a great rest of your trip. I'll see you all on the flip side.

My days 13, 14, 15 AND 16......................

Day 13 - Leave Wisconsin, headed for Canada;
Day 14 - Arrive in Canada, meet up with my family - eat - Walmart run (really) - sleep;
Day 15 - Go see Niagara Falls (so amazing!!!!!) - load up Chuck and myself and leave for home;
Day 16 - Home.

Life of the Road-crew - 4 days of driving, 1696.0 miles (Now to get ready for the final pick up - Yup!!!)

It's all goood!!

Day 12.................

Today they did another 65 miles and are in Port Burwell, Ontario, CA. They are getting closer to Niagara Falls. That means I will be heading out soon to meet them, see the FALLS, YAY..........and bring Chuck home. Now to figure out if our GPS will work in Canada or if I have to do it the old fashioned way, mapping. We shall see pretty soon. Wish me luck.

Day 11............

They crossed in Canada today and are now in Clearview, Onterio, CA. They did 65 or 66 miles today. They will post when they can. They had veeeeeery poor cell reception tonight.

NT East - Day 2....

They did quite well today; made about 65 miles. They are north of Fond du Lac in a park, camping. They appear to be on schedule to make the ferry tomorrow at Manitowoc, WI. Chuck had 2 flats today. He fixed the 1st with a patched tube from yesterday, then that patch failed immediately. Arr. The best part today (for me) was my son-in-law "risking his life" for his wonderful, amazing mother-in-law as he climbed to the top of a fire tower at dusk, in the wind. The goal........to take a video for me of the amazing sunset tonight, and also catching Roger on the phone talking to me while we shared that same sunset together. I guess as son-in-laws go, I lucked out. I'd say we all had a good day. They are, however, quite tired and asked me to post.

Day 45: July 28: Twisp, WA heading to Mazama, WA:??????

There must not have been any cell service because I have not gotten a call from Roger tonight. They hoped to make it to a campground about 5 miles out of Mazama. This would give them an easier day today, resting up for tomorrow. They have 2 more passes to do, back to back, Washington Pass and Rainy Pass. These passes are going to be hard on them. They are all tired and the seriously steep climbs of the past few days have all their knees hurting.

Since there has been sightings, some much to close for comfort, with moose, bears, and mule deer, I'm hoping all is well and I hope to hear from Roger tomorrow night.

Chris, you posted waterfall pics for me!!!!

You are forgiven, well................................................................................................................................... mostly. Those pics are so beautiful!!!!! I see why this took the frustration with USPS away. Thank you.
