Just wanted to let Roger know I'm checking the groups staus everyday and cheering you on from here in Iowa. I'm his counterpart here in the Iowa Guard (at least before he retired!) Stay safe and am looking forward to the rest of the trip. (as I sit on my fanny here at work) :-)

Hi Claudia........

Glad to see you are keeping a watch on Roger. This really is quite an adventure. As you hopefully read, they really enjoyed the folks in your state. They are all so nice.

But hey, some retirement. He is working really hard helping out back at the job, then takes a break to do this trip where he is ................relaxing?

As long as he is enjoying himself, it's all good.

Keep cheering them all on.

Some reitrement

Hi Delores,
Tell you one thing...if it wasn't for Roger the National Guard Resource Management section wouldn't be in the decent shape it is today. He has done so much and helped me so much thru the years. One smart guy you are married to. :-)
I hope I do this post correctly because I tried once and didn't see where it worked. Oh well, not the smartest computer person around....and I've only got 10 months before I can retire. Thank goodness.
I'll keep cheering!

Hi Claudia, thanks for your kind words about Roger. When it comes to work, yes, he really knows his stuff. I am very proud of him. He is a great husband too.

I have questioned his sanity about doing this bike trip though. Of course that is only because I knew I couldn't do it. If I could, I would be with this group.

I'm really glad you are following their progress. This really is an amazing trip to do.

Please continue to enjoy.
