After their frustrating day yesterday thay headed to bed about 8 pm for a good nights sleep............well that was the plan. They had packed up to leave for Babb to get the box from Hostell just to call and find out the box was not there. ( I told this yesterday) So they had to set up camp again. Roger and TJ picked on Chris because they were now sharing their own site. In other words, they were out of the "Heffel Slum Camp" HA HA HA. They all crawled in for the night. Then the rain came. So who's tent do you suppose was in the "little dip" that became a lake?

Yup.............................................................Roger! He started taking on water and got out fast. He had to unload his gear from the tent, calling Chris to help please. Well, Chris took the ribbing so wasn't in a big hurry to come out into the rain. Roger put all his gear in a "bear box" then had to get stakes out and untie from a tree and a picnic table bench. By now Chris and the girls are all out and helping, TJ, however, is sleeping through this.

The rain stopped, the tent was set up again, and TJ wakes up. It is still light out, everyone is out and moving, so he gets up thinking it's morning. They all had a good laugh on that, and went back to bed. So they are still having fun.

This morning they got up, packed up, biked to Babb, got the box, ate, then they changed out Chris' rim. After all that they were heading down to St. Mary, to a campgroud at the opening of Going-to-the-Sun Road. Yes, they were told the road opened yesterday and it was PACKED!!! They were also told that when they start, they only have to a certain time to complete the 50 miles and be off the road or they have to stop and camp for the night. I believe this is so no one tries to bike this beautiful but dangerous road in the dark. That makes sense to me.

This park ranger also told them no one gets cell reception anywhere in the park. This means if they don't get through tomorrow, I won't hear from Roger, which means I will have nothing to blog. Just a reminder.

I'm guessing todays miles to be about 22 to 25 miles???
